Michael Montegut
Co-Founder
A Psychologist who has done work in Human Vision, Human Factors, Personality measurement, and Positive Psychology. He is also a father, poet, blogger, TEDx speaker, gardener, accomplished home cook, Hospice volunteer, and many other things. Michael has overcome numerous life challenges and learned to engage his resilience in the face of health challenges, failures, disappointment, and loss. He enjoys helping teens and adults discover, embrace, and exercise their character strengths and their natural resilience.
Julia Lee
Co-Founder
A digital marketing specialist, graphic designer for local businesses, and a media arts teacher in Palo Alto Unified School District (PAUSD). She has faced many obstacles in her life, but that has not stopped her from achieving her goals in life! Meeting kind people who supported her in her journey has strengthened and fueled her desire to give back to the community. Julia has strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and others in the community, and she enjoys providing them with life solutions that lead to a solid, resilient core.

Ingrid Lee
Public Relations Manager
(Intern)
An expert Media Specialist with abundant creative skills. She thinks outside the box and always has a clear vision to share. She works with several Youth media broadcast groups. Ingrid is a big believer in constructive criticism and is very grateful for the growth that this has led to throughout her education. Though in high school, Ingrid is a graphic designer, production manager, and now a public relations manager intern for Bottom of the Box. The team is grateful for everything she brings to the team!
Chloe Chan
Media Director

A filmmaker who believes that hard work will pay off significantly. Having to go through many failures and challenges, these experiences led her to not only become a tougher person but have inspired her to work harder. She is open to projects that bring her talents to the fullest, while perfecting her work until she is satisfied. Once thinking that she would never achieve high, she is now the media director for Bottom of the Box! She hopes to work hard and bring great impacts to the team.
Elise Hu
Art Director

An artist, graphic designer who has great talent and creativity. She always comes up with new creative ideas. Elise is familiar with the different illustration apps, and she can do all types of media in art. On the other hand, she is also an excellent leader. She worked with students, parents, teachers, and many others using her strong communication skills. She has handled different occasions where she organizes things well and solves problems quickly. Elise is grateful for all the supports. The Bottom of the Box is glad to have her as the art director, and Elise looks forward to working with everyone!
